G'day Folks,

Can anyone fill me in on West Star Aviation's survey ops?

Any information on aircraft they operate, minimum total/command time for employment and hours flown per month would be very much appreciated as I can't seem to find a website for them.

Cheers,

1 x C404 and 2 x C210 that I know of.

C404 was being fitted out when I last saw it. I did send an experienced survey pilot in that direction - so might not be a vacancy there for a while.

Not sure if the C210's are working at the moment. One had a 'lack of Dunlops dangling' issue. So there could be a vacancy once it is repaired.

If you have survey experience, send me a message and I might be able to help.

Cheers

West Star are a maintenance shop, while Ozshore are a survey mob.

Ozshore don't have to advertise as people in the know give JI a call directly. He only puts on experienced drivers though - as he doesnt have time to train up new, low hour guys for survey work.

Hear both organisations are pretty busy these days in their flash new hanger.

I was a little confused as to the two entities, my mistake. Ozshore was the one i was after!

I did hear from him that one of his 210's copped a bit of belly rash; didn't get enough time to have a chat to him about employment specifics.

Thanks for the info guys! Much appreciated.
