Does anyone know a good place to go diving in Singapore?

Daytrip to Bintan or Batam by ferry.

There is no diving in Singapore. It's a small island surrounded by shallow sandy sea bed, and no decent diving. The local clubs head north to the Malaysian mainland - I've asked a good few! Or Bintan /Batam as suggested.

Come to my home base in Scotland. Diving is superb......but you WILL need a dry suit !:uhoh:

I believe you can go diving at the 4 floors of whores.

All the above. You will need to travel somewhere unless you opt for the FFOW experience.

Problem is you need a wet suit there too.....

or should a dry suit be prefered, local divers responses welcome....

There's really no open water diving to be had in Singapore. For a change of pace, you can do a tank dive at Underwater World Singapore on Sentosa Island. It's a decent enough way to while away an afternoon and even be a bit of of a tourist attraction as you feed eagle rays and swim over the Korean tourists walking through the glass tunnel that bisects the tank. For real diving adventure, you'd be best to venture up to Malaysia around Sabah, Tioman Island, etc.

There's actually one dive site in singapore. Its called pulau hantu, but its not popular because the visibility there is quite bad. Its an offshore island and its really not all that fun. Best to go the neighbouring countries to dive.
