...will be a disaster in Darwhine if it continues in this present form. I dont know if there has ever been a more pleasant year climate wise and if it continues this way there won't be a place left to stand in, everyone will move up from down south.:E

You may be right, a lot of people here in Brisbane not too happy, during this last week we had our coldest June day for 95 years.

9 June 2011 – Coldest June day since 1916
Thought it was cold today?

Thursday 9th June
9:00 am 12.0°C
3:00 pm 11.0°C (some people used the words FREEZING in the REDLANDS today)

Wednesday 8th June
9:00 am 14.3°C
3:00 pm 17.0°C

Tuesday 7th June
9:00 am 15.5°C
3:00 pm 17.7°C

Yes, it was cold !! Those figures were from the BOM

One weather report stated that Brisbane had recorded its coldest day in 11 years, only struggling to 12.5 °C.

It was also the coldest June day since 1916, when a top of 11.3°C was recorded.

We all know that global warming causes global cooling..... Dirrrrrr :D

Got to keep both bases covered.

See, this cool weather is justification for a tax. if we don't do something soon, we are all going to turn on our heads and start baaaaing like a sheep.

Well we NEED to do something about it then, it is *&^%$#@ freezing here. ;)

This whole climate change thing is such a croc, obviously there is a lot of man made pollution now, but really climate change has been around in Nature for ever, it is what killed off the dinosaurs long before Man had any real influence on the climate.

Dodgy poofta science at work on your behalf. CASA are here to help you pooftas. We are governed by poofta idiots who are supported by bigger poofta idiots. The current government is illegitimate. This current poofta government don't have a mandate to impose a poofta tax on poofta carbon. (Walt Disney was scared of mice). The opposition poofta Minister for Transport is as silly as the incumbent poofta Minister, (A Sonex will out perform any RV10), and you can't say any of this on Jetblast, Which is just a bugga, really.

Oh, and there is an idiot poofta "cluster" in Canberra.

I can't wait for my "freekin cold" compensation.

'AE' had a laugh at that one:ok:

What we need is another ice age, start fresh, clean out all the CEO's & the plebs so there will be a new dawning where mankind can come from not the Apes like the present race but next time from the silicon chip:E

If we are or have contributed to global stuffing then it's too late to take it back, we have sh1t in our own nest for ages, humans are the dirtiest animal on the planet with greed our worst trait!

BTW 'AE' I had an artist today have a peek at yr recent 4xBeech painting (it's really yr work I'm just it's current custodian) & she said it was very well portrayed as I showed her the original photo. I was chuffed:-)

Get down to MEL...

Wonder if Garnaut's hail proof roof got built...

In a bid to build a sustainable second house behind his home in inner-Melbourne Princes Hill, Professor Garnaut has told the City of Yarra Council that global warming will lead to more hailstorms in Melbourne - a claim, it now emerges, at odds with those of leading climate change scientists.

In a letter to the council, the economist uses his expertise to argue that heritage traditions, including a slate roof, should not apply to the property when defending what objectors say is an ugly, curving steel roof set to dominate the streetscape at the rear of the property.

He points out the greater resilience of a steel roof over slate given the increasing hailstorm threat. He says he has consulted the insurance industry in the course of his climate change work to back up his argument. But the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's fourth assessment report, Climate Change 2007 - Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability - says in chapter 11: "Decreases in hail frequency are simulated for Melbourne and Mt Gambier."

It does not back up Professor Garnaut's letter, which says: "Severe and more frequent hailstorms will be a feature of this change."

.......:hmm:

"On The Bolt Report on Sunday - I talk to Lord Monckton about accusing global warmist Ross Garnaut of “fascist” thinking.

On Channel 10 at 10am and 4.30pm."

Bolt had this to say yesterday...
