Hi,

I'm a mature private pilot flying out of Moorabbin in the process of upgrading to a CPL.

At present I have 800 hours, ME, NVFR, aeros. CPL theory subjects passed.

Would prefer to use my own plane for the training and test. The instructor I was working with retired, which has interrupted the training.

Happy to travel to other airports nearby.

Most of the training at YMMB now seems to focus on young airline types, rather than weekend private pilots.

Please PM if interested.

Peter,

Go to MFT, very high ratio of Grade One's. Even during the foreign student 'boom' they made sure that their Aussie students got the same priorities.

They wont put you through all the usual bull**** the other schools carry on with when you transfer schools.

I too second MFT, the CFI is possibly the best bloke around MB along with all of their instructors. Best atmosphere to learn in :ok:

I'd suggest Binis across the road. Great bunch of people and they don't do international students and Steve Pearce is renowned for his MECIR training.

Though cannot say anything bad about the guys and girls at MFT, great bunch of people!
