Al Jazeera International (24h English language satellite news channel) are showing a documentary in their 'Risking It All' series with some great footage of a DC3 fleet still flying scheduled services over the Amazon jungle.
The English commentary is a bit in the style of Pathe(tic) News but the subtitles are good and if you speak Spanish you'll be able to hear the crew chat.

with a full length embedded video (25mins). (The text on the page is a transcript of the documentary commentary)

Programme scheduled "This episode of Risking it all can be seen from Monday, May 30, at the following times GMT: Monday: 2230; Tuesday: 0930; Wednesday: 0330; Thursday: 1630".
PPruners have a chance to view living aviation history tomorrow. Worth a look IMO if you have this channel. Or use the online feed from the link above.

That the same prog that is being shown on quest I think it is, I watched it a few weeks back....under the pro title of....the worlds most dangerous journeys...or such like,

All very interesting....I watched a similar prog about 10 years ago maybe more and the same lady co pilot was flying the same DC-3....she had a much better figure back then in fact a very nice bum....still got it on VHS....but alas no VHS player.

Yep, been there and done that. Visited Villavicencio, Colombia, the world's greatest DC-3 haven, in April 2008-saw loads of them, most still being flown very actively, commercially. Also had a great flight on one-but no lady pilot. Here's a link to a photo of two of the DC-3s there, on the move.

A very successful airline (Buffalo Airways) operates out of Yellowknife NWT in Canada (they operate a DC3 and DC4's and other vintage aircraft).

Regular television series also called Ice Pilots NWT (featuring Buffalo Airways) is very popular:
