Flight Deck

I am new to this forum so I apologise if this has been asked before, but....

I will be flying to BIKF in October and would really like to get on the flight deck for the flight. Especially the departure and arrival. I have written to the airline and they have said that it is completly up to the captain on the day.

Therefore the point of the question is to ask what would make YOU let me in and stay on the flight deck. What sort of questions are best to ask to not look thick and be showing an intrest but not to far fetched that the pilot has to look it up.

You don't say who you are flying with, but I would say most captains are only to happy to have ATC people (training or qualified) on the jumpseat. Just ask when you board of better still try to talk to the dispatcher before boarding and get them to ask the skipper. Good luck.
