German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung FAZ reports (and some other blogs refer to this report) that AI will combine CGD and FRA flights due to financial difficulties and resulting problems to pay fuel bills. Other media suggest that AI owes nearly 44 million EUR landing fees to Indian airports and that a grounding might be foreseeable.
