Many congratulations to the French, a brilliant airshow, €10 per adult, food at very reasonable prices (burger and frites €6), park and ride with massive parking areas and free buses to and from - took 10 mins on the bus back to the parking and drove straight out. Red Arrows first show of the season, very well received as it should have been. Felt very proud to be British. Less so around the static display - only one UK jet, a T.....o; the only military jet with no crew around to explain stuff - Danes and Singaporeans very congenial by comparison- and no mementos for sale, just 2 posters of the jet left on a table - I think also the only static airframe I saw with no info board. Hardly worth turning up. Pity really. But rest of the day very, very good. Oh,yes, Patrouille de France were VERY good.
