Hello there,
Given the number of cadetships offered in Australia now, will direct entry positions with Australian airlines become nonexistent over the next few years?
So far Rex is the only airline that has come out and said they will only select from cadets, will more follow if nothing comes from the senate enquiry?

Cheers

Where have Rex come and and say they will not be recruiting from GA? In the article I think you're referring to it states that they are still accepting from GA given the right criteria are met. Which they have recently upped the minimums.

Supply and Demand.

Those are the reasons why there will NEVER be a firm policy on direct entry anything and it will NEVER become "non existant".

WWEJOSH...when did they say this? Seeing as they dont have an ICUS program in place, how would REX get people for command, as it stands the cadets cant be upgraded unless they have the previous command experience or get offered Pel Air commands flying freight. They wont be able to meet demand.
