The VTBS ground FRQ always give the order to push back and start approved MARKING NO. 2 from bay E3.

Anyone can tell me what's the MARKING NO. 2 mean? Why the ATC will tell me that?

Thanks

The pushback instruction for stand E3 (Navtech chart):

"Push back to face south onto taxi lane T11 and then towed forward until acft nose wheel is on marking 2."

I think you might have mistaken the instruction. It is usually push back and tow to "Starting Point" whatever. Thses are clearly marked on the ramp charts.

you just pass it down to ground staff.then they know how to push.

There is a sign on the apron surface that the ground personnel will definitely see it, but it's too small for the flight crew in the cockpit.

Actually they want aircraft to start taxi at that point (because of the very soft surface)
