As I quite often work in the area, and I'm fed up with hotels, and the people I contract for are fed up with the bills, I'm looking for the possibility of a flat or house to rent or share for periods typically of a couple of weeks at a time. The immediate requirement is for 19-29 June.

I am house trained, allowed on the furniture, and although I sometimes bark, I don't bite. My inoculations are up to date, I enjoy cooking and I think I cook quite well, or at least nobody ever lives or dares to complain. I am also quiet and clean although my o/h bitches at me for not cleaning up the kitchen after cooking, but that's a boy/girl thing and I'd probably behave better in someone else's home!

It would need to be within walking distance of Crawley or transport as renting a car would counter the objective of saving money.

Would appreciate any offers or suggestions. Obviously I'm willing to pay, I'm not looking for a freebie, but it has work out overall less than a hotel.

Thank you Sirikit, and I am sure this is meant as genuinely kind gesture, but I do sense that we may be slightly incompatible in some ways, and I really could not afford £2.50 a night anyway. And that would be Burgess Hill, Hassocks area I think? A bit upmarket for me.
