Have any of you heard of the American Air Campers Association? They have a Guide of where you can camp under -the-wing of your aircraft on-field.

I haven't heard of it, but this is Stephen Bach territory. Sleeping under the wing of the biplane. It sounds absolutely great. Enjoy yourself camping and let us know how it goes.

One of my favorite books 'Illusions' by Richard Bach under the tutelage of one Donald Shimoda covers this topic beautifully. I'm sure that it's still possible to wander around the continental US and camp, but I'd wager that due to security and insurance considerations it's not as prevalent as it once was.
