We are travelling in and out of Bristol a couple of times in the next few months. Can anyone please recommend a good inexpensive car hire company?

I use a search engine such as travelsupermarket.com - always found a good deal, although you do not know the exact car-hire company you will be using until after making the booking.

funnily enough i have always found hertz at bristol airport to be as competitive as anyone, especially if you book as early as you can.

Just curious,but why book a rental car out of Bristol seeing your location? I book when going up North,or "over there" but not from the airport i am departing from ,unless it is a drop off.

to answer your question, i live 1 mile from lulsgate when my car is in "dock" which it is on occasion being one of those italian jobs i use hire cars from lulsgate and have hired them this way for last 7 years, and yes always through hertz.
