Why would you need that?

We deadhead in a replacement.

And we get a doctor through the hotel, usually.

In high-frequency cities we may have a standby crew sitting reserve.

Depends where it is...if it's a station with lots of crew slipping then "rob" a crewmember from another crew, having ensured they've had minimum legal rest, and/or deadhead a replacement in from base, or work "one down", if it is legal to do so.

Some airlines contract with international medical assistance services.

I am basically interested in what types of medical arrangments are there.?
Is it usually doctors arranged by the hotel or is it some type of international medical insurance or is it other methods?
