Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has any advice about Jetstar engineering recruitment! I have applied numrous time about jobs on there website and never heard anything from them!:ugh:

I have the experience they require and also have the correct qualifications.
Are they positions filled "by word of mouth"? or am I just being unlucky! or is it because I have been previously employed by QF?:=

Any help would be good!

Regards
PV

I would have thought previously having worked for QF would be an advantage as they are part of the same group of companies???

You have answered your own question.

If you have experience and qualifications you are too expensive.

Better to trawl the world for those willing to work for nothing, expect nothing and cop frequent change of conditions downwards without arguing or understanding what is happening.

Speaking to a Jetstar LAME 6 months ago, he said the best way to get into the company is as a contractor with KORR recruiting, or starting in Newcastle Heavy Maintenance.

Korr (http://www.korr.com.au/)

But don't hold your breath on that either, there were blokes there who have been contracting continuously for years.
