Interesting article:

Gulf airlines could enter Saudi domestic market (http://www.arabianbusiness.com/gulf-airlines-could-enter-saudi-domestic-market-392269.html)

I wonder, though, based on the domestic air fare price cap whether any rational, business-minded companies would be terribly interested in entering this market? I guess my question will be answered if I see Emirates flying A330's on the Wadi Ad Dawasi- Riyadh sectors.

I give the benefit of the doubt that Bypass ratio is speaking tongue-in-cheek. In any case, I am referring to the 8th and 9th Freedoms of the Air

ICAO FAQ: Freedoms of the Air (http://www.icao.int/icao/en/trivia/freedoms_air.htm)
