Hi guys,

I've done some searching through Capital Air/Golden Bay Air, and was just looking for some information anybody had on Golden Bay Air; pilot minimums, the Chief Pilot/Owner/Management, main operations (scenics, RPT to WLG etc). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Three planes I understand. PA28 (ZOG), PA32 (ZIG) and a PA34 (ZAG). no idea of T's & C's. Takaka base? With the PA34 I guess the min's would be 135 IFR, ie 750 TT etc, etc.

Thanks for that. I see they've got a Warrior at the moment, and an archer on the way. Think there would be any room in for low hours with the few non-IFR aircraft they have going now? Even Takaka has a GPS approach now...

I could be wrong, but i think EQS was written off a few months ago, so they were bringing in the archer to replace it. i would say for low hour guys that your chance is slim to none unfortunately.

Yeah you'd probably need 2000hrs and a heap of twin time too, most nz operators do.... especially if they have a twin. Haha :{
