Morning everybody,

I am based North London (Brookmans Park) having recently moved down here from the North East and I am looking to find somewhere that can offer me "affordable" flying. I have been to a couple of flying schools, ie Panshangar but to be frank id rather not give them mhy money after a rather rude "welcome" from the owner. I am willing to travel a short distance and dont care what I fly as long as its cheap. Does anybody have any suggestions for me?

Thanks in advance.

You after light aircraft, or 3 axis microlight (eg eurostar)?

I can think of about 4 airfields nearby.

Also, are you looking purely for rental, or buy in to a cheap share?

Ha! So you've met Chaim then? The man is a local legend, and by legend I mean cautionary tale. I trained at Panshanger and during that training had to land at night, solo, on their grass runway thanks to his bullying 'teaching' methods...

Having said that, it's still a nice airfield to fly from. Peaceful and out of the way.
