Can anyone point me to an official definition of the various points located on FMS precision and non-precision approaches (CI, CF, etc)? Many thanks in advance.

The official description can be found in the Arinc 424-18 document which is not available without paying but a good explanation of all the leg types can be found in www.acac.org.ma/Ateliers/2.ppt (http://www.pprune.org/www.acac.org.ma/Ateliers/2.ppt)

The FIRST LETTER relates to the type of fix ie
C is the centreline fix and usually coincides with a wpt before the FAF/FAP
F is the FAF/FAP
M is the MAPt

The SECOND LETTER relates to the type of app ie

Many thanks to all for your responses, but BOAC & DuneMentat, that link doesn't work. Do you have an alternative?
