The spate of international terrorism ( aimed at aircraft ) has peaked in the '00's. Harsher security measures and clammed up commercial pilots have made casual tech talk a deadly victim.
Earlier, pilots and aviation crew ( ground or flight both) were some sort of mystical Jedi knights and princesses who did their magic and made the impossible happen.
They could catch the glint in the eye of the wannabe and lovingly explain each detail one was interested in.
Sadly thats no longer the case. We are now shunned by our heroes and heroines, the walls have grown higher. Now even a casual " What's our runway number?" could lead you into lock-up on charges of being a potential threatunless your neighbours and family proved otherwise.
How can we re-establish communication ? <img src="confused.gif" border="0"> Joles18
