Lincs lancaster (bbmf)members open day

I do not know if this is the right forum but my Wife and I are thinking of going to the above and as well as the BBMF (which I realy want to see) my wife is wondering if there will be anything else doing a display and what is the open day like ????.

After the Lancaster, Spitfires, Hurricanes, Dakota and Chipmunk have done their bit, there's nothing worthy to follow.

Lanc lurking behind the hanger is always a joy, particularly for those not expecting it to appear. Obscure highlight must be the Chipmunk flying between the lighting pylons with occupant(s) waving.

If as previous years, you need to join the LLA and book beforehand.

Usually each aircraft will do a display and end with a BBMF Flight formation subject to weather, but it is their day for members so nothing else generally appears, tho' 558 did in '09 - I thoroughly enjoy the day. Tickets are limited tho' so the earlier you book the better.
