Afternoon lads,

Buzzing around on the weekend I heard on the airwaves an aircraft conducting some sort of 200ft operation along the sunshine coast. Being pre-occupied with coming over the fence at 80kts I missed what kind of ops he was conducting.

Does anyone know what kind of ops and what company does this?

Sounded like a shark patrol or something similar?

Eye in the sky for shark watch | Sunshine Coast News | Local News in Sunshine Coast | Sunshine Coast Daily (http://www.sunshinecoastdaily.com.au/story/2009/09/17/eye-sky-shark-watch/)

Bit of a gyro fan and came across this ever other day. May be what you heard?

I'm fairly sure the aircraft you are referring to is a Westpac coloured squirrel that patrols the beach from Caloundra up to Noosa and back a couple of times a day on the weekends.
