I'm trying to find out the names/locations of all the operators in the Lake Eyre area, and the chief pilots/owners. Can anybody help/point me to the right direction to find this out? Cheers :)

Go to the CASA website, download the names of all AOC holders, filter the results (get rid of all AOCs not in the CASA office "Western Regional ADL" or who are balloon/chopper operators) and get to Googling / telephoning.

Oh, and there will obviously be some other around the joint who are tourists themselves doing flights over here but with a main office under the jurisdiction of another CASA office. (This is not a complaint, there's nothing wrong with that kind of set-up.)

Pilotboy head up to William Creek and pay a visit to Wrightsair... I believe they'd be taking on a few guys at the moment as it pretty busy up there at the moment! you may be a little late but its worth a crack!:ok:

Yeah I've heard a lot of people talk about Wrights Air. I'm definitely going to visit them. Do you know of any other operators there?

Hey FRQ CB,
I just looked up the database and it only came up with 49 operators, none of which where anywhere in the Lake Eyre area or northern part of SA for that matter. Is there a search field I'm not doing right?

GSL in Maree were hiring but wouldn't take anyone under 500 hours and last time I spoke to the CP at Aus Air Services they were all set for crew as well.

Central Eagle Aviation at Birdsville operates C 210s .
They are locally owned operation who live on a cattle station so know the area better than most
