Acrylic on stretched canvas 40cm x 50cm. Believe it or not but this aeroplane does actually fly, despite the obvious tail omission.

The cow is obviously not holding much hope of it remaining airborne....

In all seriousness, they are spectacular pieces that you do Aye Ess. Maybe I need to enquire about a price to do a piece on my current vehicle of employment....:ok:

Hello Chadzat,

The cow was 'udderly' terrified. I'll PM you shortly so as not to degrade this thread into an infomercial.

The cow is running away and is poised in that position as I suspect someone has just had his arm up it's bum ;);)

Does the doc normally do strip inspections at that sort of angle of attack?

My boxtrailer with a canopy needs a repaint.. perhaps you can personalise it with a 172 mural on canvas..? o'corse i'd rather have a butterfly tail behind..

Aye Ess

The picture doesn't do it justice - the painting itself is much more vivid in real life. Thank you for your effort and talent. The attention to detail is very high, in fact, near perfect. The cow could do with a bit more Bos indicus (Yak!) content - but that is being picky! :E

A big thanks to the "rat pack" of Ppruners responsible! A wonderful gesture - greatly appreciated. :ok:

The painting will soon take pride of place in my office.

I wonder how many people looked up the rego and now think that the Dr. comes from Tumut ;)

Only those who don't pay attention. Most long term PPRuNers would know the Doc rents/leases the FTDK. Plenty of others have given the game away by flashing their rego though! :E

That painting of the Doc in the FTDK is magnificent. I truly appreciate realistic artwork as opposed to impressionism. That is a very nice piece.

Dear Ppruners,

Thank you all for your VERY kind comments....I am stunned & you have warmed my cold black heart.

cac-sabre....admire your work immensely. 3 dimension plus interior...wow !!!

sunfish....I assume AOC stands for 'Aircraft Over Cow'....my licence to paint aircraft has a limitation of 2 dimensions only.

Forky..... I didn't know there are different bovines. I thought there was only 3. Milk, cheese or yoghurt. That is the first bovine I've ever painted.....took a while to get it right, seemed to go on for heifer & heifer.

Thanks again for all your encouragement, from time to time I'll show you more as I finish them.

Alan
