Also heard the pilot is an EX Caribou pilot ....some of his ex so called RAAF buddies have put the knife into him (verbal) on the way he handled the situation.
Thats it guys put the boot in, this fellow had 459 souls on board and save the day. Jealousy I would say.

Did the captain involved (not the checkies) ever fly Mirages ? Was he ever involved in a film that involved low level and formation flying in Mirages ? I even think a Concord may have been involved. It was a bloody good little film,and it's good to see the caliber of people that Qantas have in their cockpits,if this is the same pilot. :ok:
