Require to do an assignment on PW119B (Do328TP) turboprop power plant.
Any suggestion as to where I can aquire information/data/photos.
P&W will not release info as its proprietry information.
Need photos/data : mass flow air/fuel : efficiency indicators etc.
All comments helpfull.
In former life flew the Do328TP, a delight to fly.

Mate, if you flew the Do years ago dont you have all the tech specs and system notes in an old AFM copy somewhere???
If not keep googling and Im sure you will find heaps of info.

On leaving a company one leaves behined manuals.
Pilots are not in a habit of noting mass flow rates and propulsive efficiency.
P&W claims intellectual property rights as read.

Sorry for trying to :mad:help.

I have found a huge amount of information on certain specific technical topics from the net by doing searches and varying the input phrases, things I never thought I would ever find by that method.
Only reason I suggested it is because there have been many posts in the past on this site where people seeking specific info didnt even bother to try that and then myself and others who did a net search found what they were looking for in less than 5 min.:ugh:

I have my own copies of parts of AFM for past aircraft that I made when learning the aircraft sitting on my shelf as figured they would come in handy at some point and on occasion they have.

I could suggest an open source reference technical text that does usually have that kind of technically specific info available on aero engines but being so smart I'm sure you have already thought of it and visited your library to check it out.

If you are really in Perth? May I suggest you drop into Perth Airport and visit the AR base and ask for some details on the 119B. After all they are the only operator of the DO328TP in Oz. They are required to be at the base in daylight hours and they're not usually doing much!

These are only training notes but I have been using a similar publication for many years. They cover the PW100 range so others here may find them interesting also.

Thanks WW, glad to help out. It was not the one I was looking for though. There is a website that has Training notes for may aircraft type, something like 'Easy Flight deck'. I will carry on looking for you though.
The P&W100 series notes are similar to those P&W at Brisbane use for the operator courses, I did one in 1999 or thereabouts.
The other website i referred to is more pilot friendly...hopefully I can did it up.
