Lost Medical

How long does it take for CASA to re send a medical? I lost mine and have since filled in the payment form for casa to fax and repost my medical to me but I am in a rush for the information so any idea of the time frame would be great.

Probably a couple of weeks. Give them a call and ask, tell them it's urgent, they may try and send it faster.:ugh:

They can fax you a copy along with an authorizing letter to allow you to carry a photocopy of your medical for 7 days.

Give them a call? I was on hold for over 15 minutes yesterday after calling CASA medical to try and pay for mine. Had to give up when my mobile battery went flat. Will try again today.

NEVER send anything to CASA without keeping a copy of it.Last year they lost the ECG tracer from my medical renewal for 3 weeks.When I was in the process of booking another they suddenly found it!!

CASA lost my PPL application after billing me for it, claiming to have never received the application. (my credit card bill stated otherwise) Two weeks later they "found" it, and when I asked them if they'd try and rush mine through they said "no, we still have 28 days from when we received it". So in the end I got my PPL 6 weeks after paying for it. I also paid to get my medical faxed to me last year, took them about 4-5 days though from memory...waaay too late to go flying then.
