Show of hands please.... Is there anybody out there who could make use of a forum devoted to gliding?

I'm just about to start gliding myself, weather permitting, and I'm never absolutely sure where to put my gliding questions. The whisk-jockeys and trolley dollys have their own forums, and although I realise that there are very few 'professional' glider pilots, I think it would still be quite relevant to a lot of people.

Just a thought. http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/cool.gif

There was a forum devoted to gliding and balloons called Alternative Air Worship but it really wasn't used enough. We hang out in Private Flying these days.

There are various news groups and so on elsewhere on the web. Try a search or use the links from a big club's website.

http://uras.gliderpilot.net/ may be of use.

All the best - and what good news that the cross country ban is off!!! :-)

Cheers guys.

There's a lot of good info out there about gliding. It's not the same as Prune though! ;)

You would be too if you had the legal right of way and a parachute! :)
