Now that's what I call lateral thinking! Just the sort of approach Trenchard would have approved off to maintain a vital capability and expertise in difficult economic circumstances..we could even have used them aboard Ark as a roving air display show...encouraging UK trade across the oceans etc.......feel sure Tripoli airfield would enjoy the post attack display too!:ugh::)
