I would like to seek your advise for the following questions regarding wing designs of modern airliners:

1) Is there a specific angle at which the wings are swept back for airliners such as the A330,B777,B744 and A380?Or do the sweeps differ across the different models?

2) Also, with regards to wing designs,is there a reason as to why the B773ER and B772LR are designed with raked wing tips whereas the other variants of the 777 such as the 772 and 773 do not incorporate them?Has this got to do with the fact that the ER and the LR are optimized from the onset for long haul flights whereas the other 777 are optimized for medium haul flights?

3) Why does Boeing tend to lean towards employing raked wing tips as evident on the 773ER,772LR,787 and 747-8i (except for the 738 and 739) whereas Airbus typically uses the wing tip fences on the A380,A320 family,A310s and A300s?

Sincerely hope you guys could shed some light on the above questions.
