BA Time to Command?

Hi there,

I'm wondering how long it takes for a typical BA cadet to achieve a command in BA now, whether it be short or long haul and what the process of doing so actually entails.

Also, is there any merit to flying your cadet years on 737/757 as the longhaul aircraft are currently all Boeing.. many cadets are going to the Airbus fleet for the initial 5 years.
