Anyone know anything about the latest changes in the management?
Heard that they have fired a few of the locals that had positions and are now replacing them with ex-pats.Seems all of this has taken place since the new ex BA chief took over.

Just as a matter of interest, how long is the average stay there for ex-pat crews and why do they leave?.What practical changes to the working lives has the new ex-BA chief made?

Things are looking up for ex-pats since D.F. arrived in Qatar. A lot of locals were in positions because of lack of ex-pats. Qatar Amiri flight are now recruiting A320 Capts from outside even though they have local crew.Speaks for itself! See www.qatarairways.com (http://www.qatarairways.com)
Give it another year and the management will be 90% ex-pat,it might then be the place to go.

Anyone got the low down on the selection procedure with Qatar Airways (see they have an advert in Flight this week) and also terms and conditions, etc?
