With the new focus of Network Aviation/QF in Perth does someone have a salary structure for the pilots flying the F100.

Just trying to do a comparison with other F100 operators in Perth namely Skywest and Alliance. Found the Skywest EBA but no luck with Network or Alliance.

Would appreciate any assistance.

Network: A just reasonable FO salary and a good Captain salary. But no allowances or productivity. They pay an overnight allowance only for the sim overnights, and not for any chartered flights. Overall, probably not bad considering the hours currently flown, but that's all they get. Conditions and rostering, very much GA and a very VERY questionable 'stand down' clause in the agreement. They can buy 100 F100s if they want, they still need bums on seats before they worry too much about crew. Except for a possible DEC for a few, there may not be huge movement intitially.

Alliance: The base pay is the lowest of the three, but has the highest productivity rate starting at the lowest flight hour. If you where to fly the same hours as a Skywest pilot, you would probably out do XR on pay. Only any good if flying bulk hours, of which they aren't. Not the best as far as allowences go, but at least they are paid. Conditions and rostering, still GA, but the agreement seems a lot fairer and a bit more give and take than Networks.

Skywest: Probably the best all-rounder. Base pay just short of Networks (if you consider the F100 base pay plus a few years of service before joing the 100 fleet. Less again if they have another direct entry course), but have a reasonable productivity rate. Excellant allowances compaired to the other two and a good RDO callout fee, which the other two don't have. Conditions and rostering. There are still issues with rostering and I think you'll find most organisations will. But overall seems fair. SALPA have worked hard over the years to ensure work conditions fair and mutual (but remember that you cant please everyone all of the time). They are probably at the largest risk with the QANTAS/Network deal, but if they can hold out (and they have proven to be resiliant in the past), then they would probably be my pick as the best all rounder.

I cant help you with finding the actual agreements though..

Thanks Monopole. It's just that I heard that Network will be recruiting and will be offering incentives to pilots with over 500 hours on the F100. In particular the demand for experienced F100 Capt's and C&T Capt's on the 100.

If their base salary is higher there could be movement especially in view of the added security that a QF group company will provide. However before anybody can decide to apply you would need to examine the EBA of both Network and Alliance.

The Skywest EBA was easily obtainable but not so for the others.

Network Pilot CWA here

No $$ info

You should be able to find most agreements there.

re Alliance Airlines ..

[2010] FWAA 9742 (http://www.fwa.gov.au/decisionssigned/html/2010fwaa9742.htm)

says this at cl 3 .. [3] The Employer has requested that the Agreement not be published as it contains sensitive commercial information and FWA acquiesced.

Is there any truth in the rumour that Network and Alliance are re negotiating the salary package for their pilots?

Is Network still looking for direct entry Capts.?

Hmm,

I remember negotiating changes on and doing the bulk of drafting amendments to the woefully prepared (by HR) EBA for one of the above mentioned YPPH companies' Rampies a few years back. Despite my diligence in keeping things meant for staff in the hands of staff only it 'somehow' got leaked to management and ultimately used against the Rampies (my personal notes to the Rampies left us very very exposed).

There is no proof but I am confident that the only way it could have happened stems from the ONE time I had to borrow a computer to burn discs from the resident IT man (an incredibly dedicated company man).

I left the company shortly after that for unrelated reasons (I left ramp job as I was re-employed elsewhere in a flying job) but I have a real bitter taste in my mouth every time I think of that weasel and the whole deal. Hopefully the pilots have got a better person on the job than me.:(

Moral of the above story being don't use the Company network (no pun intended) for sensitive communications - it is their system after all, so they can monitor all that it is used for. Ensure all emails and documents are clearly marked 'confidential'. Then if your work is leaked and you can find out who the leakee was, go for the jugular in the most aggressive legal sense.

Mach E Avelli,

No truer words were ever spoken. I was in a rush and had forgotten to burn copies at home. I deleted everything and even replaced it with a bogus file named the same thing assuming that Mr IT wouldn't really have any desire to sell us out (or even know why I had to use that specific computer).

In the end I think that the boys (and girl) ended up accepting the terrible terms that had been proposed by management initially.

An amateurish mistake on my part but on the other hand I don't know how much of a stance the crew would have made anyway, they were dark days (shortly after redundancies across the board).

Is Network still looking for direct entry Capts?
Don't know, but guess that lack of movement at Alliance due GFC would mean all the current Capts would be out of bond well and truly; as would most of the F/Os.

I wouldn't think it unreasonable for Qantas/Network to wan't to poach a "ready to go" Pilot workforce - would save a few million in training costs alone. Market forces could easily trigger a mass exodus.

So does anyone have a rough base salary figure for an F100 F/O and Capt?

Do they also get a QF seniority number?

Reviving an old thread in the hope of getting some new information, specifically:

What are they like to work for?

Their EBA (CWA) has no pay rates and info from other threads on here are 2+ years old. Is anyone able to give details on both F100 and EMB120 pay?

How long is the training for each type and are you paid at the normal rate or a reduced rate?

Thanks

Haven't looked at it but how can an EBA not have pay rates?

The 'pages' are there but all the numbers have been removed prior to being released on the FWA website.

Hi all,
I am reviving this thread to see if anyone could please shed some light on Networks Salary information. I see they are recruiting again!
