As the title suggests, I'm looking for a reasonably priced place to stay near Cranebank. I have to go there on the 9th of may (next week wednesday). I've been looking on the internet, but al the regular hotels nearby seen to be massively overpriced. Can anyone help me? Please include phone numbers and prices. Thanks a million, Fred...

I stayed at the Heathrow Lodge Motel. It is just outside the North west perimeter of the airport, right under the approach. Nothing fancy, kind of the no-frills equivalent to easyjet for hotels. £30 a night for aircrew, but they extend this same cost if your are attending an interview/testing (or they did for me when I went to BA). Make sure they know this though. Breakfast is served for £2.50. Doddle to find on the Old Bath Road. Telephone 01753 686970.
