Sounds like PAC Helicopters has lost a machine off Manus Island.

Details are still sketchy, however it's not looking very good for the pilot.

Sorry to hear the news. Did similar ferries to/from Manus in the 70s for helitrans - at that time regs and SOPs required a fixed wing escort - Besty or Crooky followed behind in PDQ or the Shrike.
Sure hope he is found soon.
