Hi Guys anyone know of a Forced landing by a RV-12 Aircraft? I belive the Rego was 19- 7449 Thanks.!

RV-12, newly completed aircraft, all went quiet at about 800' agl. Visible damage is undercarriage a bit rearranged, one scraped wing tip and a good size dent in the opposite leading edge. I very much doubt that it will be a write off.
Apparently happened at Jacob's well.

No Pyro, that was an RV7, much bigger and heavier.
The -12 is a Rotax machine. A bit like a sporstar.....but 10 times better! Except this particular one! :sad:

It's being quoted on another site as an RV12 at Jacobs well, who's right?

I have to say that for the number of homebuilt RV's out there they rarely feature in the crash reports. The trusty lycoming seems to be the reason I suspect.

Not sure exactly what you are doing wrong there Spinex.
Just press the picture icon (with the yellow landscape thing in it) and enter in the following: http: //i.imgur.com/ZpEPw.jpg (without the spaces)

Thanks Rob and XXX, I'll have to go back and read the fine print on how to post pics, I could see the image in the preview?? Anyhow it was the same one as Rob put up, I lifted it off the Vans forum - posted by someone from the Netherlands, go figure.
