Hartington 5th Mar 2011, 20:41 In which case I guess it has to be Pune. sprocky_ger 6th Mar 2011, 22:33 And the winner is... You :) It is on the way from Pune to Lavasa - an artificial city (houses and appartments will be sold to people that would like to use them for vacations only). There is only one dead end road to Lavasa through a hilly area. I got a bit sick by the way the driver drove through that area. :) visibility3miles 6th Mar 2011, 22:48 Find this, heh: http://gallery.photo.net/photo/2605751-lg.jpg Best viewed at low tide. The Park service want people to forget it exists. They took the label off the maps and extended the paved path to it to directly over the cave, so people viewing the scenic outlook haven't a clue why the path was originally there. Anemone Cave in the morning (rising sun) when the tide is ebbing is great. P.S., You do not want to be in Thunder hole at low tide, especially if the tide is rising and there's a Nor'Easter blowing in. At high tide it might be less insane. Maugan has a lake but doesnt seem too promising. Cabalian has a lake, but otherwise.... Banahaw doesn't seem to have a crater lake, but the size, shape and plantations seem right (there are, however plantations everywhere, so seem to be nine-hole golf courses :(). Matutum does not seem to have a lake but the shape is very good. There is a Dole plantation close. Must be golf courses, then... Let's take a stab at Pomolok and Mt. Matutum in Glandang, Kablon. RegDep 12th Mar 2011, 12:52 I am sure that I did not cheat, I think. All else just Giggling along. This is one of the best kept and liked barques in France, so it popped out easily. It's sailing log with pictures is on its web site, dear Watson. The flags I did not miss, but read them as COMEZ which is a firm (Comez s.p.a). At that time I had no idea that there would be a place called Cowes :O Bear Island? Well done Sultan Ismail 13th Mar 2011, 09:08 Sirikit That's a B.A.S.E. jumper doing his or her stuff from Menara KL, the Kuala Lumpur Tower, Malaysia. I went out to my residence swimming pool one Sunday morning to find about 50 people looking skywards, a few moments later one of these intrepid birdmen jumped off the tower and landed dead centre in the pool. I watched his face as he approached, it was grey as he concentrated on the tightest landing of his career. The swimming pool is on the 34th floor. My residence is clearly visible in bottom left hand corner with the roof top pool. Not so clear are the high walls surrounding the pool which means a near vertical approach into the pool. This particular act of folly was an encore to the previous evening when he jumped from the 34th floor pool deck into the pool of the adjacent property. The secret is to open the 'chute prior to departure and have several assistants hold it open such that it fills immediately the jumper leaves. Sirikit 13th Mar 2011, 10:39 Wow, Ismail!
