Hi
I started my flying career on helicopters and gained a UK CAA ATPL/H with Bristow’s. The License has been dormant for quite some time (10+ Years) and I now wish to revalidate it. I have been told that the most cost effective route would be to do a R44 Type rating course and take the skills test.
Currently I fly the A320 overseas and returning to the UK is a very long trip. Does anyone have a list of companies not based in the UK that can offer an R44 course? The possible advantage of the overseas (non UK) company could be: Better weather, Cost, Closer to my current employer……. Anyone?
