Is Flight Booked Solid

I went to book a multicity business class trip last night on Etihad. However I was only able to select my seat for one of the flights. I presume this means flight is booked solid and they are just selling extra seats to cover those who will not show up.

There are all sorts of reasons why you may not be able to select a seat but the level of sales is the most likely so, yes, the business class is probably pretty full.
