I am an italian student who is looking to train abroad, and Canada is one of the country which I really admire.
I decided to post this thread here, as it is more specifically.

So, as far as I know, in Canada is not mandatory to have a 4 year bachelor's degree to be empoyed by a major, but this does not regard me, as I'm not canadian, nor I have the right to live and work in Canada.
Anyway, I'm looking on the way to decide whether get or not a Diploma in Aviation or a Bachelor's Degree with Flight Training.
I don't know a lot about Canada at the moment, so I'd really appreciate if someone could give me some suggestion about aviation college and 4 years bachelor's degree with flight training.
I just know Moncton Flight College and Seneca Aviation College.

What would be the avarage cost of this path in Canada? Does it really worth?

Many thanks in advance!

You are going to get more opportunities professionally if you obtain your JAR license from a European Country many Canadian licenses have to be converted adding time and cost to your training. More job opportunities for you with JAR.

A degree is better, but not essential for European carriers.Get a degree in Europe in another discipline in case you fail your medical or have an accident and end your career.

Good Luck

I can't do flight training for a medical issue: my astigmatism is more than -2 dioptrees in my left eye. But I could get a Class 1 JAA medical certification as a renewal...
If I'll go in Canada (or USA or Australia) I will try to settle there, doing whichever kind of job flying...
