Hello fellow passengers,

am just wondering if anybody can share some experiences about travelling with Icelandair from mainland Europe via Reykjavik to Seattle, e.g. how is the stay in Reykjavik, is it easy to get the connecting flight and how comfortable is it to sit in their 757s for the whole route?

Thanks and a blessed and happy new year to everyone !

Have taken this route to/from the US a couple of times although the last time was about 6 years ago. I really recommend it, Icelandair offers a good service, the airport is a dream, Reykjavik is a lot of fun if you have to stop over. The only downside really is the increased flying time and the fact that their flights do tend to be full most of the time.

Hopefully you will get more recent feedback from others.

Can only echo what Capetonian has said, again not recent experience I am afraid but with good memories, comfortable and easy flights.
