I am 33 yrs old, hold an FAA CPL, IR and ME with 400 hrs total time, 100 of them twin time. Can anybody out there please direct me to a company (eg, flying turboprops) which may hire me with my present hours? Anywhere in the world may be considered. Thanks a lot.

With those hours anywhere in the world should be considered.

If you turn down a job because you don't want to go to Africa, for instance, the pilot who does go for a few months will get the hours and experience which will enable him to return to "the world" and get the job you really want.

I believe kkn was already saying he would consider anything, anywhere.

So what's your point 3green?

Sorry Flint,

I understood he "may" consider anything, as opposed to "will" consider anything.

That was my point.

Get a JAA frozen ATPL and apply for a job with Crossair.

Requirement: JAA frozen ATPL, Swiss or European citizenship.
Hours not relevant.

Might have a huge expansion soon as they are going to take over most of the Swissair
A-320 routes.

You will be treated like a dog but good initial training, experience and equipment.

Last letter I got from them said you had to speak a scandinavian language.
Has this requirement now been dropped?

Scandinavian...? Check your Gyro Drift! Brown nosing; perhaps. Scandinavian; NEVER!!!

Frozen Falcon, "treated like a dog"?
No no, it used to be, but there's been quite a lot of changes here ;)
The only thing left to complain about are the low wages, but the rest is quite good now :)

As for Crossair's expansion plans, well, we are on PPRumorNe :)
