This was broadcast earlier in the year but only heard it the other day as a repeat. It's brilliant... If you have the impression of Irish being innocently cheeky and having the luck well this will only go to enforce that stereotype... It's unbelievable. I thought it was fiction when I heard the advert for it! Two Dublin boys, aged only 10 and 13 I think, make their way to New York via London for free by train, boat and airliner. In the process they spark huge worries about airline security following an Air India terrorist attack coincidentally having occured to the South of Ireland. Don't Go Far; Your Dinner's Nearly Ready (http://www.rte.ie/podcasts/2010/pc/pod-v-doconone-dont-go-far.mp3)

Here's a Doc about spotters at Dublin Airport (http://www.rte.ie/podcasts/2010/pc/pod-v-curiousear-doconone-planespotting.mp3) It's just a simple insight.

This follows a man's first trip across the Atlantic aboard an Aer Lingus Super Constellation. They are cleared at FL120 across... To Boston and Back(1959) (http://www.rte.ie/podcasts/2010/pc/pod-v-06121048m35sdocononeboston.mp3)For those of you that enjoy radio docs... Enjoy!
