Hi All,

I'm for a couple of days in Sydney and looking for an Instructor (since I don't have an Australian licence) and aircraft (C172 or PA-28 non-complex) to go for two trips around the area. I contacted already Schofields flying club but have not received an answer. Would be around 1st - 2nd week in January.

If anyone has a tip, please let me know.

regards,
Marcus

Try pacific flight services (bankstown). I've flown with them in the past and been quite happy. (02) 9791 0055. Best bet is to actually phone them.

P.S. Do the harbour scenic / victor 1 vfr route..

Hello Marcus,

I can help you! I have a good IFR PA 28 Archer at either Camden (best) or Bankstown and can show you round the Sydney basin area or beyond.

It will be much cheaper than Schofields or Clamback's and more fun and safe...!!!

Skype me on rodlemon or call +61 2 9489 6935 Mobile +61 418 679 993

I am from White Waltham/Elstree (CabAir) with both UK and Oz licenses - born in London myself.

Rod Lemon.

From previous experience, albeit years out of date, it always worked better for me to call the STAC the day before and find a time when there was a high probability of a clearance from Stanwell Park, V1, to overfly Bondi, orbit as required East of the bridge and leave via Manly, rejoin V1 Northbound and find my way home. I operate ex Camden and highly recommend this airport as departure point.
