DEC/CALM hangar at jandakot

I spoke to one of the firespotter pilots from calm and apparently they run a hangar @ YPJT.


Anyone know anything of it?
i'm very keen to get a job as a firespotter when i finish my CPL (Late Feb/early march at this stage) in time for next fire season, so in the meantime i'm intending to get some contacts =)


Any helpful information would be much appreciated.

They seem to get all work done on them at West Stars hangar. Not sure where they live

They won't be recruiting again until next October at the earliest, and it will be advertised. JT base is also unlikely in the first season, you would probably get Manjimup or maybe Bunbury.
Last intake they took four new pilots from 300 applicants. If you want to know more, PM me.
