Hi All:

Does anyone know of a B747 classic sim that has received FAA certification and is outside the USA? Where is it? Who to contact for making rental arrangements?

Thanks,

G3

I would suggest giving Virtual aviation a call or visit their website at www.virtualaviation.co.uk (http://www.virtualaviation.co.uk)
They are a company that organises simulator session - I believe the company is part of BA. If they don't have a classic simulator you can use then they will probably know where you can find one. Hope this helps.

Flight International also do an excellent annual survey showing the location of every simulator in the world, its operating parameters, certification, visual systems etc.

I suspect you should be able to get hold of the data via the Air Transport Intelligence website: www.rati.com (http://www.rati.com)

SIA B747-300 - little used and in good shape as of a year ago (PW engines)

Varig 747-200 - same (with CF6-50E2 engines)

Thai 747-200 - condition unknown

FSBTI LGW (formerly Quadrant) - supposedly in good shape and heavily used, may be difficult to get time in

Thanks to all
