Evening Guys,

Are there any flying schools at Jandakot that offer an aircraft with the G1000 fitted?

Thank you

The Aeroplane Company - Diamond DA-40 I believe has the G1000.

Advanced Cockpit Flight Training - Cessna 172 VH-ECU, but it may only be restricted to use by Edith Cowan students.

I suspect the familiarity with the system is more the draw....I guess it's cheaper in the 172 than a Baron!

Confirmed, The Aeroplane Company has a DA40 with the G1000, I did all my Comm training in it, and it should be online by tomorrow.. hopefully!

JFC are getting a new fleet of C172 and Metro's with retro fitted G1000's :}

They will be for their international flying school. Soon to have Malaysian, Indian, PNG and West Papua students...:D

When the Metro's are not in use for multi crew turbine training, they will be used on night freight running to all the mine sites in WA. The potential student will be flying these runs to build hours. It is what the airlines want these days.....:E

CMN :ok:

A 250 hour newbie [insert nationality] student doing night freight in a Metro to mine sites in the middle of the night?

bwahahahahaha!

Despite the G1000 it is still a metro working hard - things will break. Watch the poo hit that fan when one goes U/S - who gets priority? The training or freight work?

Ohh the training happens on the freight flights... :E The only way to put a Metro out at $4k per hour :=
