As we all are aware, Canada has opened up, 3 pax + 3 cargo weekly routes to be announced soon. SFO is also on the talk, maybe LAX, surely with the deliveries of the triple resuming soon there has to be more plans.. anyone else can provide any inputs on further routes to be announced?

Cheers :ok:

Surely they will just wait to see what routes EK announces and copy those? After all, that's what they have done for 99% of the rest of their network!!:E

Accordingly to the rate of sim failure on B777, Annaba and Tizi Ouzou will be the only new destinations to be announced. :}

Is a direct flight to LIS far from being reality? I think Doha would be a great gateway for Portuguese people to reach Asia.
Here are some reasons I find important to think this way:
1. We Have no flights departing from Lisbon to Asia.
2. Right after the Brazilians, the Chinese are the second biggest community in Portugal.
3. We also have lots of Indians and Bangladesh citizens.
4. Portuguese tourists are looking for Asian leisure destinations like Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, Maldives, etc.

Would be nice to have Qatar Airways showing its beautiful colours on final rwy 03 at Lisbon.

Flyzede, your post is way too good to be posted here. For any post in this forum, it has to not make make sense, make fun of QR someway or the other, involve a satire about the desert/heat/camels, ect..., and finally be negative.

I totally agree with you, portugal is a very good choice.

I think Qatar has enough Money to put an aircraft anywhere they want in the world if they want BUT..money is NOT everythink:
1- we need crew
2- we need to reduce the rate of resignation/jumpship..
3- we need stability to consolidate the comapny''s growth( 1-2),thats the main issue!
3- we need a new airport...
..than only lets think about our network expansion!:bored:

Thanks Qatar340! :)

Loc,

I totally agree with you. Although I'm not working for Qatar Airways I understand what you mean.

I've already sent my application so I can help fight against the lack of flight deck crew members.

And the NDIA will be soon ready to handle all Qatar flights... isn't it?

The other two issues you mentioned only people inside the company can see and later on, deal with them.

Best regards,
