From the Daily Telegraph.

POLICE are investigating a fatal aircraft crash in the state's south yesterday.
A number of witnesses contacted emergency services after witnessing a light aircraft crash into a paddock about 6pm.

Police and emergency services attended a rural area in the vicinity of Brisbane Grove Road, about 200m north-west of Goulburn Airport, where they located the crash scene within the paddock.

The pilot, a 48-year-old male from Goulburn, died as a result of the crash.

There were no passengers on board and no other injuries.

A crime scene has been established and a report will be prepared for the information of The Coroner.
