Some of you may remember my sons Rememberence poet last year "Poppies in the Field". Here is his 2010 poem, sorry it is a little late.

During the war you became deceased
While fighting your life decreased
Sorrow, our hearts are filled with, on the day
We hope you're in a better place now we pray
Your were wounded during the battle
Your friends kept moving like cattle
Through all the grief you gave your blood
You were very brave but still fell in the mud
